Yenli Izzillo, Mount Gravatt

I want to give you some feedback on how Carter is doing.  He started swimming lessons again last month after a 5-month break over winter and his swimming teacher observed that Carter has really matured and developed in the last few months.  He listens better now and is eager to learn.

I have also noticed a change in him – he is more aware of his surroundings and the people around him, and is more thoughtful in his actions. Yesterday he told me that he would not bring his plastic toy scythe to kindy for the Halloween dress up day because it was not appropriate.  It was part of his Halloween costume and he had happily carried it around for trick or treating the day before so I was very pleased with him for realising that it wasn’t right for kindy – he’d obviously thought about it himself, unprompted by me or his dad.

I credit your excellent teaching for Carter’s development.  He has come a long way since he started kindy with you in February.

Thank you very much to both of you and all the wonderful ladies at Head Start.  You have all really made a positive impact on Carter.
